The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) was originally composed of numerous regional offices each following their own separate standards and cultures. The decision was taken to centralise the offices to promote openness, fluidity of communications and similarities in ways of working.
In order to facilitate this important transition from cellular working to open plan, Kanvas had to carefully manage the expectations and interactions between all relevant stakeholders of the business. The design and consultancy phase was extended and focus groups were undertaken. From this data, a full stakeholder analysis was completed in order to fully ensure client understanding and buy-in to the change in their office working environment.
