Kanvas were initially awarded 36 projects by the Department of Works and Pensions as part of the £2.2 billion 4 year roll-out programme fitting out new Job Centre Plus centres across the UK. The team delivered all projects to programme and budget establishing a solid reputation for exceptional operational delivery. Kanvas were then awarded a further 9 projects.
Through developing strong relationships on a site by site bases and by remaining flexible, we undertook to deliver all projects on time to exceptional quality with as little operational disturbance to the local business. This achievement was recognised by the DWP via Key Performance Indicators (KPI) resulting in Kanvas being awarded top performing contractor of 14 national companies not only in Health and Safety performance, but also overall first place for all KPI’s for year two projects.

All works were carried out in occupied premises open to the public. This included the strip out of all existing facilities including mechanical and electrical services and fitting out of new lighting, small power, air conditioning and all office/public facing facilities.
